Sierra Comicon
So what can I tell you about Sierra Comicon? It is the First of it's kind in Reno Nevada and we have the soul support of the city and fans of comics world wide. The event will be held at the Reno Ball Room a 35 thousand square foot facility and we have room to grow as well.
We currently have Pross Comics, Advent comics and Even the interest of Top Cow and Zenescope Entertainment and Boom studios want to attend. We also have a powerful Line up of artist as well. Paolo Pantalena, Ken Lashley, Jimb Salgado, Patrick Blaine, Ale Garza, Dheeraj Verma and John Sobie just to name a few. There are more and more signing everyday.
We expect in the 3 days of the con. to see over 15 thousand guests or more. Being a collage town and one of the largest tourist stops of the west we have a great base to work with. The show follows one of the largest car show events in the nation called Hot August Nights. and we are right at the opening of Burning man so the city is full of people. with cash in their pockets. The Timing of our Event was well planned. Also we are advertizing in 5 states through the exclusive use of Century Theaters. Our advertisement will be viewed 9 thousand times to a captive audience. We also have an aggressive Billboard campaign and Tourist bus service that services all of northern California from the Bay area to the Sacramento Valleys. We are advertising on several Radio Stations that are serviced throughout northern Nevada and Calif. We want to be the premier show and we are proving it.
We have a free booth for you and if you want to upgrade to 2 or more just let us know. Of course they will cost but Our prices are inexpensive. We believe in quality people and treating people right. the booth cost is only 225.00 and discounted there after for additional. You also get 2 VIP passes and all they entitle you too for each booth. We also have a bank of Rooms Saved at the Silver Legacy Hotel and Casino at a very special rate. The week days I believe cost 59.00 dollars a day and the weekend rate is only 99.dollars a day. A substantial savings specially this time of year.
So Before I totally bore you here is a small list of the program we have set up.
The entire show and in part will be live webcasted. Artist and Author panels. An artist sketch off, Raffles through out the event. a on line Gaming comp. News Coverage. Cosplay competition with one of the largest Purses in Comicon history. (To be Announced) Artist Alley, Vendors, Super Hero Pub crawl, A Geek Prom, a Few Hollywood types of course and an Auction to benefit the Wounded Soldiers Project and the local university arts dept.
